Hi all,
ive noticed that i`m losing brake fluid from my 2000 td5, ive topped resovoir up twice in last week, anyway i think i can see where it is coming from. Not sure of the part names but here goes. Where the resovoir is, a unit bolts onto the big round thingy with 2 bolts/ studs. It looks like fluid is leaking from the lower right hand area where the bolt /stud is.
any thoughts would be welcome, I`m going away with caravan on wed and i`m a touch worried.

Master cylinder seal leaking so fluid runs from the rear and into or over the outside of the servo (big round thingy). Get a master cylinder repair kit if they do them and replace the seals yourself or get a replacement master cylinder, s/h, recon or new it's up to you.

i guess then yours is not a td5
i only replied to the original question to help i no this pipe is a common problem and it is in the area that is discribed

but i am vey good at barking up the wrong tree:blabla:
