brake crunch

Its a bit alarming when you put your foot on the break and it feels like you are crushing eggs inside a carboard box, and still not stopping. The sound is like trying to stop with disc pads that are worn to the metal. The calipers have all been serviced or changed and the pads are only three months old but the thing just needs six weeks notice in writing before it stops.......any ideas? Should ABS sound and feel like this?

Well no one seems to disagree with yer .

It should only kick in if yo break too hard and lock up. This is then senced and the ABS kicks in. You may have faulty sensors.
