Bosch VE inlet pressure range?

Does anyone know the expected input pressure range of the Bosch VE, as fitted to the 300tdi?

Im sick of dead lift pumps, and would like an alternative.

hi Julian from memory about 5 psi is all the lift pump would supply. The Bosch VE was used in most car applications with no lift pump at all. I guess landrover thought the ve would struggle if u drive up side of a mountain and fitted the lift pump. If u can find a new old stock one it should b good for many tens of thousands miles.
