I'm sceptical of them myself, no one has been able to prove so far that they are any better than a pump tune. but timbertrail/morgan are the better pins, made out of decent steel.
Heard reports/seen photos of cheaper ones seizing as they corrode, or a grove worn on them rather quickly, redering them useless and hard to remove again.
The Timbertrail/morgan pins are made from a very hard steel, the early timbertrail ones weren’t good enough, so he replaced every single one that had an issue.
Not all those on fleabay claiming to be timbertrail/morgan are, many are cheap copes sold and nearer TT prices.
