Freelander 1 Boost Gauge.

Hi everyone sorry if this has been covered but i've looked threw some threads and can't find the answer..

I'm in the middle of putting in a Boost Gauge in my L Series XEDi FL1, all the wiring has been done and the air tube has been put on but i don't know where is the best place to put the connection at the turbo end ??

Please can anyone let me know if they've done this and show me where they've put there connection Please.
(someone mentioned the air pipe on the bulk head)

You can T into the wastegate feed tube. Why are you fitting boost gauge? Is there a reason behind why you need it?

thank you and yes i'm not sure if my turbo is boosting properly as it doesn't feel like it is

will it be ok to T into this piece (see pic)

Off the top of my head, thats the controller for the EGR - so I would presume that's not what you want to be tapping into.

I put a fitting in my EGR blank.

That is the MAP sensor signal pipe. This will be connected to the inlet manifold. So yes, a boost gauge can be tapped off that pipe.

How did you tee it into the EGR / Blank when the egr works on vacuum and the boost gauge - err - does not.?
