I have a 1996 discovery 300tdi...i have noticed that the wheel arches are not in line with the wheels. Its kind of hard to explain but the nearside rear wheel sits under the arch by about an inch, the offside rear wheel is about flush with the arch....go to the front of the vehicle and the nearside front wheel is about flush and the off side sits in about an inch or so. its like the shell isnt sitting straight on the chassis, its very strange.
Ive had a good look around the car and underneath but cant see anything obviously wrong, the body work is straight and there are no damaged panels, basicly the car is imaculate....
Has anyone got any suggestions as to why this has occured, and how i can rectify it....ive done a full AA hpi check and it hasnt been accident damaged.
The car handles perfectly, goes in a straight line, no shakes or shudders.
Advice would be most apreciated..
..Steve..

Man I have to same thing in my 95!!! its strange I know but mine dirves fine and handles fine I thought I needed shocks but I don't know

i know the shell i basicly bolted to the chassis i was wondering if it can be unbolted straightened up and rebolted....problem is i havent got a clue how to do anything like this.....
it dosnt afect the car in the slightest but it just looks odd..

its like it when loaded and when empty...also the car sits perfectly level when on a level surface so i dont think its the shocks or springs...
i need an expert to tell me how to move the shell, im an engineer by trade but ive no experience in doing this sort of thing.....

the only thing ive done to it is put new rear brake discs, calipers and pads on it, but i had the odd body problem before i done this.
the engine is great, runs quietly (for a diesel) ....ive owned it for about a year and have had no problems, just this dam body shell thing is nigling me...
