Greetings, im in the final stage of purchasing 2016 range rover. However, im really worried that the body will change soon. I've heared that the change might be in 2022. Can someone please advise on when is the body change expected? Is it the right time to buy it? Thanks

Alright, just to make things clear. What im worried of is a change in 2018 or 19.
When i mentioned 2022, i wanted a sort of confirmation on the rumors, spy shots, and so on. As a change in 2022 is what im hoping.
Anyhow, sorry for not elaborating on that, and sorry again for bothering everyone here.

You're worried about the body changing in five years time ? Most cars get face lifted every five or six years fella....if you're worried about that then don't buy any car.

Ok serious answer....... NO don't buy it, honestly don't. Wait until 2027 , that is when the 'ultimate' Range Rover is pencilled in for. It will be far more easily personalised. Panels can be changed , a bit like the ones on the cactus, you can choose any style of headlamps/bumper combination from all previous Range Rovers, including the ejoke ( the official badged name for the evoke from 2019). The interior can also be personalised beyond anything yet known. You can choose seat styles from ANY marque, not just LR, imagine Ford front seats with Citreon rear seats. EAS will no longer be available, it will be springs only, although you will be reminded that it is the 'ultimate' Range Rover, by the driverless controls. There are many other options available but I am under a non-disclosure clause in my contract.
So please I beg you , don't buy until 2027. That is the correct time to buy. I wish you many years of Range Rover motoring and all it brings.

In other words ........... twonk

it's about time that land rover perfected the tardis for this very reason :D:D

I can't understand "stages" of buying a used car?!

If I wan't one, I offer money, if they haggle, I haggle too until we both reach a happy medium... Is that what you mean?

The other way I do it is, See the car, like it hand over cash or see the car, don't like it and walk away.

But being worried about a face lift in 5 years time is just mad.

Are you worried what others may think?

That's just shallow and you need to get over yourself....o_O

Not wishing to gang up on OP by agreeing wholeheartedly with Doo, but I agree with....Doo,
If you wish to relegate yourself to spam sandwiches in order to impress ones neighbours AND come on here for advice bordering on stupido then I hope your driveway is short and your regret is long.

Lol, that reminds me... There is a housing estate in Inverness known as Spam Valley :D

It got this moniker because the houses back in the day were all ooh & ahh new and people got mortgaged up to the eyes so they could point at the lesser mortals living in cooncil hooses, but their mortgages were so high they could barely afford to eat

This smacks of that. Just trying to beat the Jones's in a one upmanship my willy's bigger than yours contest.

There's no point, just buy something you can afford and are still happy with...like me :)

My car is 17, but turns heads all the same because of the colour and the condition ;)
