I want to put in Blue Quartz Glass Halogen Bulbs in my 1994L 90
Cannot find in my manual or any on the Net what type bulb I need
and if they can take this type of bulb

100W H1 H4 or H7 E22 Blue Quartz

Terry

If you look at the markings on the lens it will tell you what bulbs they take. 99.9% of all cars built before about 2000 ish all have single bulbs for dip and main - these are H4 designation. H1 are single filament as found in the majority of spot/fog lights. H7 are only in newer vehicles with stylistic type headlights.

Hi

I bought some H4 55w and put them in but find
they are a bit dull to the orginal Halogen Bulbs

Thinking about buying some 100w what do you think ?

they are not legal for road use in the uk.

othurs mite not uv known, and these have filaments which can break,

not like the hid, was told that they havent a filament in um. mmmmmmmmmstrange

I was just sujestin an alternative that is a bit cheaper. Landy lights usually crap to diabolical and these extra bright off-road bulbs might make them appear normal-ish.

When i was at uni, my mate had an old C reg Sierra with reflectors that had gone a bit dull. we put non-road 110/130's in that and the lights looked just about normal ;)
