Blowing dash bulbs...

I changed the dash bulb in the clock of the disco a few months ago, after about 2 days it poped again. It was a 12v 1.2w bulb as was removed that I replaced it with.

I take it the circuit is controlled via the light switch, lights on, dash bulbs circuit becomes active... simple as?

Anyone else have disco dash bulb problems?

My clock wouldn't light up, changed the bulb and all's well ... and it's cured a problem I had with losing all dash lights occasionally when main lights were on!

Other than that, no, no dash bulb problems.

Check alternator isnt over charging. but probally a faulty bulb,

Replace it with a LED and a resistor.

Use a flashing LED for psychodelic effects.
