On the radio this morning they were saying that this new single person/single lane toss that is being implemented is not as infallible as first thought.

if you place a blow up doll in your car, the camera wont detect it and so you are still liable to prosecution.
However, if you use the same doll, but fill it with water (heavy, i know) the camera detects a fairly solid matter and you can get away with it.

Also was a case in the USA which involved a woman who was taken to court for same "offence".
She argued there were 2 people in the car, as defined by law, as she was 7 months pregnant at the time. She won the case.

Also was a good point: Little Freddy Smith going to work in his Corsa on his own can be done for using wrong lane. However, the boss of his works, who has no licence cuz he was banned DD, can use any lane he chooses cuz he's sat in the back of his car being chauffered in.

Whose the mugs here?
