oh happy range rover days drove to the shop today on an errand for the misses drove there find got back in the car started it up selected reverse started to move then one loud noise then a horrible grating noise and no drive so i guess chain requires replacing i hope. on holiday next week and was taking the rangie but now off to Cornwall in the my 110 much to my misses amusement ha ha

Never mind you'll both appreciate the RR that much more when it's on the road again, especially if the 110 is a diesel!

flex plate?? what's that. Going to take transfer box off in the week cos that is where the noise is. Lots of landy mates have said it is a common problem that the chain fails in the box if so has any one replaced this on there's if so is it much of a job. my missus is still not impressed that we are taking the 110 on holiday but at least the kids are happy
