Hi guys im new to the forum and always read up on this forum when i had some trouble with my landy.
It is a 2004 freelander 1.
Ive done a lot of work on it and i mean a lot but lately its been puffing out a black smoke when you put your foot down especially when it first starts at low rpm.
Things ive already done
1. Replace the turbo
2. Replace the airmass meter twice
3. Checked for bad boost line
4. Replaced the cylinder head
5. Taken the injectors out and had them tested
The reason i replaced the airmass twice is because it keeps on giving a wrong amount of air reading according to the diagnostic.
Im all out off ideas. I have not removed the intercooler yet but dont know if that will rreally cause a problem. Because the previous turbo never blew oil out into it.
Can somebody please give me some advice on what you think i can check for. Maybe a bad engine harness or something?
