Black Brake Fluid

Been having to pump the brakes on my 90 for a while..no fluid loss but seemed to be lack of pressure on the brake pedal occasionally, pump it a bit and all fine..

Got worse over last few weeks, had a look again today, fluid very murky and dark...i guess the seal has disintegrated...is it easier to put a new master cylinder in than faff around replacing seals...or am i barking up wrong tree??

Dunno about the seals but the fluid should be changed every 2 years cos it absorbs water!

You could bang some new seals in there ( not **** part ones as ya know ) if the the bore isnt scratched , but If the bores scratched then its junk .
It is quicker just to slap a new MC on it tho

. You could buy both , fit the new one and re-seal the old if you wanna play with it lol .

dont **** around. buy a new MC. and change the fluid every 2 years!
