bit of paint info please

hi bit of info needed on painting my checker plate its silver at the mo and would like to paint it matt black i no how to rattel can but no nothing of paints and paint makes i need to do the job any help will be great many thanks Dan cheers

assuming its not anodised, you will need an etching primer.

if you use a standard undercoat the paint just wont stick

you can by etch primer in rattle cans too.

if it is anodised, then i dont know at all!

hi and thank u no not anodised once i have primed with etch primer can i then use any matt black top coat
