bilstein dampers

when i bought my landy it had all the shocks completely knackered on it (originals from when car was new) - from some light misting on the front 2 to a rear 1 that had snapped in 2 when i came to replace it! -so unsurprisingly when i replaced em with Bilsteins the ride was amazingly different! But due to finances i had to replace the front 2 1st and then when i had a little more cash the back 2. (they kinda went in that order although from looking at the previous MOTs advisories they were all on the way out anyway).

I fitted Bilstein B4 blacks to the front, these are apparently direct replacements, and on the back just recently i fitted what i intend to keep on my truck ,The yellow Bilstein performance shocks (just ordered a front set from Paddocks) at the moment even though I have a different set on the back than on the front handling doesnt seem to be comprimised but at the same time im not bombing around everywhere either as im aware my suspension setup is not correct due to the different shocks (all 4 should obviously be the same type),

The thing i'm getting at is the other day i was sitting in the back for a change going over the same speedhumps my motor shoots over effortlessly (even at 30!) and i noticed the ride was much better in the back, I mentioned this to my old man who said it could be the shocks but also to note that the big old heavy engine is situated in the front and would make a difference, i'll know for sure in a few days when my new front shocks arrive and i'll let ya know for sure!
