Not too noisey, too early to comment on how they affect fuel consumption, not as good as the all terrains (not bfg) I had in the wet but that may be an unfair comparison as they were 255/65 and the muds are 245/75.
At the end of the day, I'll put up with all the minuses on the road for the benefits off it.

I've had a set for a few years and have used them on several landies. They're fine on the road, not too noisy, handle well, ok in the wet, and last for bloody ages. They're down to about 8 or 10mm tread now so aren't so great in the ****e but still loads of road life left in em.

Having run both in the last year, i found there isn't much difference on the dry other than a bit more humming and using more fuel. In the wet they slip around more and braking distances are much longer.

they will do 50kmiles on road but i find **** 70 quid remold tyres better off road.bf tyres get ****ed in the sidewalls as anytyre does in offroad stuff.cheap **** off road.michelins 4x4 on the road....
bfg yes good but michelins on road are better for me.

What sort of minimal lift do you need for 35" tyres?
I think my 285/75/16 bfg muds work out to be 33" and are ok with no lift.

are you talking original KM's or the newer KM2's?
The new ones are quiter on the road.
