Best selling site

can anyone recomend the best place to advertise my Landy for sale?
I have tried eBay and auto trader with no joy. I thought I should try a landrover specific site but never having sold one before I really don't know where to look.

Ebay. If it didnt sell, you're asking too much. Put it on auction with a sensible reserve. Don't be fooled into thinking you can match overpriced traders' classifieds. Have a look at sold completed items too check true values

Auto Trader doesnt get anything like the patronage it once did imo.

Could try Gumtree too, but the advice from @cooltide about setting your selling price would also apply there.

I regularly look at auto trader and defender prices are an absolute joke. eBay isn't much better.

That's not always true.... it all depends if two folk who want it are around near the auction end and that's the bottom line.

As a prime example you may remember I had some Ex MOD Inspection lamps for Series land rovers which plug into the dash. Well I wanted 1 and had about 9 left so stuck them on eBay one at a time. They were all identical and some went for £20 or so but 3 went for a lot higher Buy it now 60 and auction end £49 and £54.
