Hi Guys,
i am brand new to your site and a virgin to Landy's.

I have just bought a 2003 Landrover Discovery XS, 2.5 Diesel and am hoping somebody can tell me if it has a belt or a chain and if its a belt when should i change it and if its a chain how should i deal with it.
Kevz.

the auxillary belt is a service item i think it requires changing at 96,000 mile intervals or whenever wear is evident, not a great cost approx £15 for a genuinne LR one, A haynes manual will give you the full service schedule though.

it all depends on what type off driving you do i.e extreme off road, or all road or a bit of both, decide what type of driving you'll be doing and then go from there, a lot of people us the general grabbers at2 which are an all terrian so you get a limited off road ability and a comprmised on road, the best value tyre company ive found is www.camskill.com loads of choice next day delivery and cheap
