Hi guys,

just replaced the o2 sensors on my P38 due to it running rich, which fixed the problem :D and noticed that there is a hole in the bell housing around the torque converter about 5mm in diameter.

I've also got a problem with vibration from approx 50-55 mph which is the speed that the drive locks up apparently, could this be due to the gearbox? If not will this cause any damage? I'm not really used to auto gearboxes so not sure.

Anyone know how difficult it is to replace an auto gearbox on a 4.6 HSE P38, do I need to get the engine out?

Dan

I have changed a p38 auto box lying on my back its not technically difficult just awkward everything is heavy. a good 4 days work. Follow the instructions in rave and it will be out and back in... in no time.....
