Anyone recommend a Bearing puller kit that will do for rebuilding a LT230 transfer box?

Would be nice if it also covered some of the other stuff on the landy. Its a 200 tdi defender 90. \

Seen plenty of videos of people having to weld tabs on to get their kits to work on the LT230

Thanks guys. So these ones don't have the legs and pull that way?

From looking at the manual the transfer box seems to have cut outs so needs one with legs with narrow feet.
the only bits you might need to pull off are the inner races on input gear and diff, the outer races tap out with a punch hence the cut outs in the housings
legged pullers arent very useful for a t/box as there is no cut outs for the inner races

Gotcha. Thanks.

I'm currently rebuilding an LT230 and just wanted to add that it's possible to knock the input bearings out with a punch/chisel. New OE bearings are £15 each. Not sure about the diff bearings as I've not touched then.

James, is it possible to fit new bearings to the input gear without a press - can they be hammered on with a socket or similar?

outer races tap out which doesnt matter as your not reusing the race, if you want to reuse you need pullers or press or brass punch ie soft metal
its perfectly fine to tap all the inner races on to input gear or diff using a socket ,my 3/4 set is often used for such, for inner races this type of tool is what you want they can be used by hammer or press safely, or you can make similar using an old brg race cut then welded back up to reduce diameter slighty then weld a bar across to press or hit
