Bearing Part 2 lol

I got my wheel bearing stripped down last night and its shot god knows how it past an mot with a bearing like this even the stub axles had it.
Anyone know of a place local to Manchester for a 2nd or new stub axle ?

that's about as shagged as mine was. had to grind the nuts, washer & runner off the stub. Had nothing left of rollers!

I just fitted a new stub and hub yesterday, tried repairing what i had but it kept blowing oil seals and making noise.

Lovely and smooth now - feels a different car to drive.

I got prices for new stub and hub of approx £30 for stub and £70 for hub from MM 4x4.

Cheapest i have found is £46.00 for the stub axle one place said £110 you lost me on the hub part or do you mean the rear disc ?

the hub is the part the wheel and brake disk bolt on to. (that's what i call it anyway!). Mine got shagged when i hit it too hard with a sledge hammer to free it from the disk. It had swolen in the heat generated from the collapsed bearing.

Anyway, give M&M a call, they were definitely less than £40 when they quoted me.

All done spent all day yesterday both sides got new brake pads, Bearings inner and outer plus new discs next will be to do front when my waller recovers.
