P38A Battery Drain!!

Im having the battery drain issue with my p38 it goes totally flat after 1-2 days.

i've done a draw test with 2 multimeters and they cant pick up any drain, nothing at all even if i open a door or turn a dome light on it reads 0.00 can't be right surely?

It currently has a oldham battery of unknown age on it, are the p38s battery fussy?

P38`s are very battery fussy you need the biggest highest amp hour you can get in there ,normally 120ah 1000cca

I wouldn't think they would like the fuses pulled willy nilly either

always thought that as soon as u remove and replace a fuse it will wake the system up again

when i've done a parasitic drain test have linked out the bonnet catch and had to wait 20 x mins for the system to go to sleep then test the back of each and every fuse without removing them , but maybe it has a different type of system

What generation RF receiver do you have?

Oldhams now seem to be called Platinum. Just ordered a 642X but they only deliver to business addresses and their delivery driver seems to have difficulty finding places as it should have been here yesterday but he couldn't find the Community Centre. Obviously the 3' high letters on the outside of the building weren't a big enough clue.

as far as i know everything is original.

The battery is 640cca 70ah is the adequate?

does seem small ,but of course the guys here will know , mines 110ah 900cca , but alas different engines

that's more like it a split charge system, lol

does seen undersized for a diesel ,

have a look here and put ur reg number in will at least tell u the spec

mine is very power hungry and that's why i put a decent size battery in it ,another aux one going in next year , lol

my p38 is a 4.6 quite a power hungry engine aswell lol!!

it seems with all the ecus in it , takes around 20 x mins to sleep , then on mine every 6 x hours wakes up and does a suspension level check

That's a toy battery, as I said before 110- 120 ah 1000cca cant go wrong with that size.
