Finally got the defender back on the road! Had it’s MOT @1400 today. It had the garage stopped as everyone came over to admire (and point out the fact I scrubbed the wall getting it out the yard) it on the ramp!

The only issue was drivers side headlight beam needed adjusting down. Couldn’t be happier, and taken just under 2 weeks shy of exactly 1 year!

Congratulations, mate. Crackin achievement :cool::)

Thanks gents!

Hopefully I can get use of it, before anything goes belly up!

It was a decent runner before the rebuild, only issue was the fuel lines drawing air. Touch wood it’s like that again!

The only thing we're missing are some pictures of the completed Landy. :)

I will sort some tomorrow, but here is one still in the yard. The day before it drove out.

Well Done Mate. Must be a Great Feeling getting to the End. Whats your next Project

It was a great feeling when the tester gave me “the nod” to say it had passed! It’s been a roller coaster journey that started as a “weekends work swapping the bulkhead”. It’s had it’s ups and downs, and right now I wouldn’t do another.

As for the next project, I still have an old 110 chassis, and I need a large heavy duty trailer........
