I took off the back door card today and found that the only issues appear on the very bottom of the frame.
There are no drain slots in the skin like there are on the driver doors, is that normal?

The water has just been collecting in inside the frame and slowly rotting it away.

I have fabricated a new panel for the frame but I am thinking of adding the drain like the front doors has anyone else done that or have a better idea??

Cheers

There is no drain on a rear door. There is no where for the water to get in. The wiper has a seal, and the window is sealed to the frame. Its prolly condensation, and poor seals that have let water in IMO.

Yer in theory it shouldn't be leaking, I looks it has been coming in from the door latch not being sealed properly.

Just thinking maybe adding the drain will help if it happens again.
