I've just bought a Discovery3 after nearly ten years without a Land Rover. I've no excuse other than stupidity, thankfully this last Winter has brought me to my senses.
My LandRover history is as follows. My first was a long wheelebase 2.25cc series three with added side windows at the back. I then had a series 2a long wheelbase 2.6cc. Had this for a long time. I then bought a series three station wagon, long wheelbase with the 3.5 V8. Loved them all.
Most adventurous journey was over the Corriearrick Pass south of Loch Ness. Got all the way to the end and found a bridge a little worse for wear. Kicked it, a few large chunks fell off so took the cowards way out and waded through the river.
My Discovery 3 is arriving on Wednesday and by Mondeo estate will be taken away.
I can't wait!!
