Evening all! Back in the land of Freelanders after a bit of time out.

Got my mitts on a 2004 TD4 HSE, so far had new discs, calipers, brake lines all round, VCU, front prop, clutch and cylinders, drop links, anti roll bar bushes, rear diff bushes and a full service. These were courtesy of the garage that sold it to me, awesome customer service from these boys.

Anyway it's in good nick and I've decided it's a keeper so started on some TLC and mods.

1st was to add remote start to the FBH, easy job and works a treat, toasty warm when I get in.

2nd job was to resurface the steering wheel. Having done the seats in the MRS XC90 I had a load of stuff left over so went to work on the wheel. It was showing it's age, shiny and had lots of wear marks, unfortunately I didn't take a before pic but you can imagine a 12 year old steering wheel thats done more than 100k. Image below of job after, took the old coating off and applied 6 coats of shiny and 4 coats of matt, looks really good now. I'm chuffed.

More stuff to come...
