axles on disco, exchangable

hi,
wonder if any one can help me?

i have a 200 tdi with 10 spline axle
i have broken the front diff!!!
but i have a spare axle from a 300tdi with 24 spline sitting here

can i use 10 spline axle on rear and 24 spine axle on front together?
will this affect anything?
