OK First of all I'm really sorry for all the Questions these last few days, Just planning ahead while I'm healing for the next 5 weeks or so, trying get on with the jobs I can mange for now.
Just got my front axle off Cant afford parts to rebuild it yet so gonna try and get it rust free and painted up, How do most do it ? was thinking of just taking whole hubs off to make it lighter then once all painted up put them back in to rebuild them. Once these bolts are out will the whole lot just slide out ??

If I come across anything too heavy will wait for help. Everything seems to be in working order . will replace the usual bearings, swivels, seals ect.

Yes it will. Drop the diff oil out first. The whole wheel assembly and half shaft will slide out together. You could install a new swivel ball seal and retaining ring by putting it over the half shaft, if required.
Or, if it's all sound. Leave it all together, de-grease it, wet it and paint with Fertan, rub it down, repeat that process, a few times. Then paint.

Aa MHM said Buzzweld stuff is popular. I used Rustoleum on mine. With all painting the preparation is paramount. Do an inferior job of that and it doesn't matter what you put on top.
 
I know I sound like your mother but those axle ends and the diff mechanism are probably a bit heavy for straight after an operation!

When I did my axles I found that replacing the steering swivel bearings top and bottom made a big difference to the handling - much steadier at speed. Even though they weren't loose they'd developed a notch in the straight ahead position. New ones eliminated the wobbly floaty feeling on motorways. Taking the hubs apart will be worth it as this will allow a look at the CV joints. Mine were fine and so I put them straight back in, but this allows a refresh of bearings and seals too. You might as well do this while everything is apart and out of the car, so that when they go back in you've effectively got new axles which should last you a decade or so. Lots of gasket sealant helps too.

I'm just loosening the bolts when its time to pull them out Ill get someone to get them out so I can get on with the cleaning first. Just think it will be easier to work with when both ends are out, maybe get it lifted on to bench.
