Need help on this one!

When I approach 40mph am getting a horrible wobble of the wheels, major wobble feels like there coming off. Had the tracking done, wheels balanced and a new steering damper on, what elce could it be? Any help would be fantastic!

Propshaft UJs or propshaft itself .
remove the front prop , put it in diff-lock and go for a rag and see its the shake has gone .

well if the tracking has been done ( they should of picked up a badly worn ball joint ... but its worth checking with a helper ) , and wheels balenced then theres not much else apart from prop/Ujs and pannard rod .
assuming that the swivels have no play in therm .

What wheels have you got on? I had this problem and it was caused by alloy wheels having the wrong offset for the car. You may need spacers for your hubs.

I had a similar issue, comedy death wobble, I checked allsorts with mine and finally put it down to the panhard rod, bolts weren't tight enough........seemed to solve my problem. it looked as though the previous owner had fitted guards and they'd not tightened to bolts enough or they had worked loose over time :(
I'd basically work you way around the front end steering setup and make sure nothings loose or gone lol

Rite, after looking at everything only thing I can see is the bushes on the rad arms, gunna change them, ive changed the wheels and that did not help, new steering damper, tightened everything tuck play out off the steering box. Going to poly bush the whole lot and go from there.

It's just horrible to drive like this!!

did this just happen , I mean without doing anything to the truck . mine did this when I put on a britpart steering damper , took it off and the 1993 original is back on and working fine , so much for preventative maintainance !! so I would suspect steering damper .

Old damper was ok, did it with that. Now has a new terrafirma one on n still does it, the bushes have gone on the rad arms at both ends but weather this is due to the vibration/movement from the shake is yet to be found out
