What type of oil will come out of gearbox when i pull CV out of box. I have done osf and changed transfer box oil while i was at it.Looks to me like it goes into gearbox so will i loose all my ATF.
How do i fill it back up if i do. Thanks

You'll loose about 4 litres of ATF. The LR fluid is Texaco N402 IIRC. I use Carlube ATF-U in mine, and any other Jatco box I change the fluid in.

Also if you're replacing the drive shaft, only use LR or OE shafts, as cheap ones last no time at all, even less time on a lifted FL1.;)

Cannot find where to fill the box back up, seen a clip on youtube where you pull a plastic bung out but its not there

It is hard to see - just in front of battery tray and slightly to centre. Thanks to Hippo for the below photo - you'll need to carefully pull the plug out and then use a funnel and tube to fill slowly. Instructions for level checking, temp, level check etc are all listed on this site.

Thanks for the link, going to change driveshaft and ATF Monday morning if the weather hold out.
Will let you know how i get on

Changed driveshafts, front prop, flushed gearbox and transfer box. Still have vibration so removed prop to test.
Now worse than ever, feels like abs is coming on. Need to get sorted foe Billing. Thanks

Did you fit genuine or OE driveshafts? Aftermarket shafts are known to vibrate as I said at the beginning of this thread.
