Auto fold wing mirrors??

Hi,

I've got the new Freelander with the electric fold wing mirrors.

How difficult would it be to have the wing mirrors automatically fold when the car if locked with the remote control and automatically unfold when unlocked?

I'm assuming a bit of electric jiggery-pokery is needed.

hi simon the relay for the power fold mirrors is located in passengerside front foot well just up behind fascia on the left you might have to get glove box out there is only 1 relay on that side,you could wire it 2 the front passenger door lock as the wiring for the door runs down the nearside left kick panel as well just need to read the wiring diagram,the only downside is that i can see is that if you lock the doors by the central lock button i can see your mirrors folding,but should be able to reset using mirror switch,good luck tiga.
