I'm fitting a raptor dash console atm and found these wires that are not being used, does anyone know what there for?

Maybe options your car doesnt have or for the radio?
Think purple is perm live, brown are ign live, white earth?

If you have a test meter you could test each wire and see if you get anything useful some might be dead ends. maybe one end was meant to be connected to a sensor fitted to an upgraded model so you'll just have an open ended wire loom. Not much help I know but until you put a meter across them you'll never know what they are. Unless you can find a copy of the vehicles electric circuit diagram that might shed some light on it.

Blacks tend to be earth
Brown tends to be the feed from the alternator
Green - Left hand indicator
Green/White - Right hand indicator
Purple - Interior lamp
Red/White - Panel lights
White - feeds the warning light circuit to the panel
Hope this helps, as they are still for connecting thins up to ... or they are redundant! ;);)

I reckon they are pretty much are redundant, my plan is to fit a separate fuse box and run everything off that. Cheers for the comment.

There were a few options regarding what went into the middle panel, so there will be some redundant wires. Mine has a 12v socket (which could be switched or permanent live) a clock (with back light which is powered from the red/white wire) and rear wiper control. Other options were to have oil pressure/temperature gauges. There is also provision for a radio, using the brown wire and white wire with inline fuses.
