Disco 2 Anyone brought a new battery recently?

Anyone know what dimensions are for d2 batteries? Can't find it on net! That or a recommendation for a decent one, the suggested ones seem a tad puny

Hi just bought a battery for my disco 1 from Tanya Batteries good price £80 + delivery arrived next day

Looked on Tanya batteries cheers for info they have one using the proper part number looks perfect fit. Most others in amp range were edge rarther than middle terminals and didn't look like cables would reach. https://www.tayna.co.uk/YGD100860-Enduroline-Battery-For-Land-Rover-P9073.html

Damnit I already brought the other one for 25 quid more! Didn't see bulletbatt when I was searching :/ seems to be pretty much same rating too. Ah well those enduroline ones seem to have good feedback. Hopefully worth the extra dolla haha

Battery dimensions are 325mm l x 175mm b x 220mm h on the one I took out of my TD5.

Was that the original factory fitted battery?

Originally factory fitted battery on D2 Td5 was Delco Freedom 110Ah 800CCA which became obsolete, the dimensions of that enduroline or bullet from the tanya links are perfect fit

I was just going to ask same question looked at the link great stuff

+1 on Tayna batteries. That size of battery can be supplied by them from different manufacturers (well, the same battery with different badge stickers!). Specs are much of a muchness, the only major differences are in the price.
It does fit perfectly, if just a little tight on the Disco 2.

Yes they are a snug fit. Best to attach the terminals first then the securing bracket. Gives you a bit more wriggle room
