As above, got a new key as my elderly dog is struggling to get in the car and she weighs in at 40 odd kg..so treat myself to a suspension key with full barcode..programme into bcu code locks in and reads correct when checking but when I try to sync key it reports the old "signal is coming from fob not recognised by bcu"..is it a case for testbook??

Hi.I found a clip on u tube on programing a key fob just over 5 minutes long I used this as a guide to program my suspension fob it worked.I entered discovery 2 key fob programing and found it.Hope this helps.Cheers

Chrismb - any chance you can tell me where you got the fob and the link to the youtube clip? I've got 2 Bullmastiffs and I have to lift their back ends into the Disco after walks! I do get the **** taken out of me a fair bit! That remote to lower the supsension would be well good! Cheers. Sub

google out STC5007 and dig hard cos it's not cheap, and the clip: Disco 2 Key programming - YouTube but i dunno if this is valid for suspension fobs too

...but, taking into account the price of a sls fob(if you want to get a new one) and the fact that the ignition must be on position II to make it work(so you will have to enter in the car first anyway) there is quite easy to make a scheme and wire in a switch into the boot to lower and raise the back manually without disturbing the normal sls management ... if anybody is interested of such improvisation just let me know

Hi sierrafery, if its not too much trouble I would be interested in knowing how to modify a switch in the rear for suspension. Many thanks in advance.

Hi everyone the you tube Disco 2 key programing is the one I used.Under the 4 keys is were you put the suspension code.I brought my remote from the USA on ebay about $120 or 60 pounds it was brand new.It was a bit trying as they did not sell outside of the USA but I found a way around it.I have tried to find the site again but not there at the moment.Cheers to you all.
