any Disco 2s breaking in Lancashire?

I'm after a set of alloy wheel nuts and a tow bar (with electrics).

There's loads about on eBay but nothing local and postage doubles the cost of it.

Anyone got these parts that's local to me?

I think 300tdi disco towbars fit mate , they fitted one from a 300 to a td5 where I used to work

Emmots of colne. Have a look in the Range Rover section and you should see their banner, they sponsor it Range Rover - Land Rover Zone

They also Break D2's I have had wheel nuts off them, they have millions!

My mate has a 300 so I'll nip round to his and see how they look.

Might have a genuine D2 towbar in stock here, will let you know! I live in SW Cumbria and often work in Warrington so I'll be able to deliver if necessary.

Managed to get sorted at Emmotts.

Tried my mates RRC tow bar which I'm told is the same as a 300 disco and it didn't fit. The distance between the mounts on the chassis and the drop plate mounting holes is shorter on the td5.

perhaps the lad at work modified it slightly , it came off the blue 3 door 300tdi and was fitted to the black 4 door TD5 manual

It would be easy enough to modify. Just shorten the supports and maybe alter the angle at the top of the drop plate.

Just tried the wheel nuts and they're too big for the wheels so it looks like I'm towing on 35s tomorrow!

id probs modify it , td5 ones are usally expencive and a pain to get

im guessing low gears then !
