Hi DEF 300TDI , ive just found what looks like one shot swivel grease inside the drivers front wheel and on the disc , but not around the swivel seal and back plate .
The swivel grease is mixed with the diff oil as its a grey colour .
Will this be a hub seal ????
If i change the stub axle seals , hub seals , and discs / w/bearings whilst im at it , Can i leave the actual swivels alone , they terrify me and dont want to touch them .
I did the rears stubs ok a couple of months ago , is this about the same job . Or more involved .
Also do you think it is a hub seal that's gone ...... or an over-fill of the swivels , as i did top them up a bit back ? , i only noticed the leak today when parked on full lock .
