Series 2 Another "is this original" thread: This time lugs for tail gates...

This time I'm asking about lugs for tail gates.

Do all series 2a LWB chassis have the lugs for a tail gate?

An original LWB station wagon chassis won't have them (and has other differences relating to the second row of seats).

My new rear crossmember came with them on so I ground them off..............

Only coz I will never have a tailgate.

Mine does, which s quite handy 'cos it's got a tailgate.

They should be standard for most chassis. Idea being flexibility in conversion from full door to tailgate.
