here we go again ......
noticed lately the brakes on the disco aint quite what they should be, they dont 'bite' like they used to and sometimes the pedal is hard and i stop quickly but other times the pedal can sink towards the floor and it takes longer for me to stop. when the pedal is pressed the car doesnt pull to either side or anything like that so i think i can rule out knackered calipers. and i do have a leaking swivel ball on the front passenger side which is spilling some grease out (which is getting fixed next weekend), but i cant see that affecting all 4 discs and it wouldnt affect the pedal travel. i bled the brakes earlier in the week and no air at all came out, and all unions on the brake pipes are tight with no apparent leaks or air ingress.
anybody got any ideas on what the problem could be? im planning on putting 4 new discs on when i do the swivel balls so if i can sort all the problems out in 1 go it'll make my life ALOT easier!!
cheers guys
