Hi all , just attempted to change my turbo boost control solenoid , read on here easy , 15 to 20 minutes , put car on ramps and could only get one arm in to it working on my side , so got the jack out and removed the wheel and found I could only get one hand to it , both bolts holding it were siezed and unknown to me were rubber mounted and I sheared one of the rubber mounts  so I will have to replace the bracket with the rubber mounts , does any one have a part number and cost ? So I have given up for now after one and a half plus hours :( car needs to be up a height me thinks , and two hands required ! Td4 .

I had a 10 minute job to do on my wife's Zafira today. All I had to do was to replace a hose.

It took me nearly 2 hours because access to one spring jubilee clip was almost non existent. I am now covered in cuts to my hands and wrists after working blind as I couldn't see the damn clip.

I have replaced all the crappy spring hose clips on Er Indoors Vectra and my F/L with stainless Jubilee clips....far easier to access with either a screwdriver or small socket and 1/4" ratchet.

I found locking a pair of pointed nose vice grips on the spring clips makes removal a lot easier
