Hi all.
First of all I must introduce myself as I'm a new owner of a 02 vogue td6. My name is Liam and I'm from Andover in Hampshire, I bought her knowing she had some minor issues which most have been rectified thanks to this forum. I got an issue what had stumped me.

So at first the display on the head unit would not display anything and the speakers would work but only for about 2 min and then cut out. I would have to turn on and off and sound would come back.
So I read on here about checking for water damage in the rear quarter.

I found some corrosion on the amp terminals, so I stripped it all down and cleaned inside too as there was very minor corrosion inside and some contact cleaner managed to clear it off with some blue roll.
On one of the smaller sockets (the one below the main power socket) one of the pins broke off.
So then I plugged it all in and tested the head unit and no sound at all now. And still no display but orange light remains on.
I have checked the power going to the amp and it's gettin voltage going in.
Does anyone have any diagrams for all the circuitry for the system. Also any more advice would be great for things to try..
I don't want to Try find a new amp if it's likely that this isn't the culprit.
Also the nav unit has no power, is this powered from the amp, does the display need the amp to show anything.

Cheers

It's highly likely your bm54 amp is at fault. Carphonics repaired one for me, solved same faults you have for around £100
