Amber Engine Management Light

About 18 months ago after running out of fuel the amber engine management light illuminated on my TD4. Everything runs ok, starts first time everytime, fuel consumption still good etc.

Just wanted to know if anyone knows how to reset the light, without having to take it back to a main dealer?

Ok i know the connections cos I'm er rockit enginear but its too complicated fer er mear earthling un side's if yer git it wrong you'd phook it up, but if you go on rover Ron's web site [mg zr forum i fink] he tells of two pins on the phooter comms socket [passengers side under dash]. . . .combination of ignition on or orft and linking out the two pins ,resets all fault codes [less they are still active faults]. . . .
