Alloy/wheel nuts....cock up!!

Hi all,

In my haste to buy a set of wheels and tyres for my 2002 110 (currently borrowing a set from a friend and he needs them back!) i've picked up a set of alloys and tyres from ebay for £97.

I think they are boost alloys or very simular from a 2001 Discovery. Problem is the wheels nuts supplied with the wheels have a smaller thread than the studs on my 110 !

In my stupidity I asumed that the alloys from a 2001 disco would fit a 2002 Defender? Does anyone know if the stud size is different between models.

Begining to think I should have hung out a little longer for some steel wheels!!!!

2001 disco will have the smaller hub profile than the defender, disco will have same as p38 rangie, two choices fella 1, sell them on again and wait for another set. 2, buy a set of hub adapters to make them fit.

Looks like I've screwed up big time on this one!!

Just looked for some hub adaptors and they're well outside my budget!!

Looks like these will be for sale very shortly and I'll continue to hunt for some trusty steel wheels again......!!
