Does anyone have one fitted to their LR?

I am wondering if there is a visual difference between a canvas tonneau and a pvc one as i would want it to match my hood.
i am about to order from them an extended truck cab and may get the tonneau at the same time so am curious if others have a pvc or a canvas one?

thanks

ed

I only respond because you have 'All Wheel Trim' in your title....
Kim and his team there are second to none and the quality of the mohair hood and int/ext roll cage they fitted for me in 2009 iirc second to none. The top pic is this year and ithe second is 2015 - still looks great today.
I don't think it answers your question but I think it looks tons better than canvas or pvc imo..... o_O:)

I stuck with canvas for my wheel cover so it matches. I think the pvc may be a little lighter but will age differently to the canvas. (My rad muff is pvc). I wonder though should pvc last a lot longer?

yeah apparently the canvas can shrink, as my car lives in tha garage all the time i dont think that will matter so much, as i would want the tonneau to amtch the hood tbh.

I will ring them in the week see if they can send me a fabric sample or something

was going to go for extended truck cab in khaki

looks lovely, however mine isnt posh enough for mohair :D

Just asking...does pvc go brittle in the sun after a while?

For the record...Wolfie's not posh hes very much a worker....just tidy! ha! ha!
Always kept under cover which is an issue for whatever 'fabric' cover you use...either shrinks fades or cracks....comes into its own when summer comes and the sides get rolled up all round and 'sun roof'...

The choice between canvas or pvc for me would be canvas but at least u can get bird poo off pvc.... :)

keeping canvas under cover all (most) of the time is an issue? what does that do to it?
i thought constant exposure to wet/UV etc would be more harmful
i think canvas type material look 'better' comapred to the pvc type wolf soft tops

Where did you get that light bar? Or have we already had that conversation?

Spoke to AWT - the reason for the pvc tonneau is that when the canvas shrinks the holes for the roll bar and the way the tonneau attaches to the tub means the holes won’t stay lined up so the tonneau will end up not fitting if made from canvas.

I will get PVC then!
