Alarming alarm!

Sorry, always questions. 5 door, 53 facelift Freelander TD4. The alarm goes off every other day, sometimes 2 or 3 times. If unlock/disarm then lock a beep from the horn sounds. The rear window will only go down from inside the car but not up? Using the key in the rear door raises the window and from here on everything seems to return to normal with all functions of window and alarm working as they should, until the next time! It has only started since the sun came out but could just be coincidence, or could it? Over to your collective knowledge. Got to go, the alarm just triggered again!! Help.

WELL MOODY . . . .sorry ta hear yer got troubles, well lits start wiff basics, the toot yer git is a= change battery int fob b= door is open. . .so start wiff fob battery,if thets good un still got the problem then check all yer doors shut and rear window has driven its last up bit. . . .my hunch is yer rear bit ,it still finks a= door is not shut b= window is not up, if its a 3 door wiff removable roof , then there is a swtch in the roof [tells it the roof is on] and to then drive window a bit more. . . . .this could be not seein the roof is on [n.o as apposed to n/c] . . . .hope this elps yer earthling

Thanks for the reply. All doors and windows double checked, both key fobs tried? Didn't do it at all today. Will change fob batteries and watch and see!

Only a few days but having changed the key fob batteries no more problems! Thanks again for the advice.
