hoping someone can help me with a few wires pretty plz :)
i want to fit it all myself as a learnin curve but as some off you well know, my knowledge is... well.... limited!

can someone tell me what/where the "high coil" is? where i can find the "cut off" circuit? and help AT ALL with simplifyin this diagram any?? ha.

even help with where to start looking for/colours of some wires would be good. done all the ignition side of things tonight but lots left to do!

high coil is the good old fashioned coil on a petrol engine. it is asking you to wrap 2-3 turns around the coil so it can then pick up the ignition pulses and determine the engine it trying to fire.

however, if it is a diesel engine then it wont work cos you dont have a coil so:

then open the unit up and move jumper j3 to the lower position for DC operation and connect the orange wire to either the alternator charge light connection or the oil pressure switch connection.

next bit

the ignition off connection from the alarm on the yellow wire is a switched negative. It is suggesting you supply and fit your own relay, and connect the positive to the battery positive (obviously fused), and the negative to the yellow wire. It is then asking you to interrupt the low voltage (12v) feed to the coil via the contacts in the relay.

in this way, you will only get a 12v feed to the coil when the alarm ecu allows it to.

again, if it is a diesel, you could interrupt the feed to the fuel pump instead of the coil.

good luck

I love Engrish! Brain unit! Marvellous. It looks like they want you to wind the orange wire around the coil HT lead, probably easier to pick up signal than around coil.

cheers for that OP. just drawn a few things and think i have got it now. just to check tho do u mean the yellow wire yeah? not white?
blue- door trigger
yellow - ignition off output
white - ACC input
orange - footbrake input
black - handbrake input

I did indeed, changed me original post now. good luck with this.

cheers bud. appreciated. fairly sure i have bitten off more than i can chew but what the hell, i'll just keep fiddling untill it works. never knew the wiring in mine is so bad! not had it that long but looking at it now i have no reverse light, no handbrake warning light, intermittent diff lock light. its all just bodged in and a mess.

anyone local willing to give me a hand??

if i lift the panel between the 2 front seats and look in i can see a switch with 2 green wires going to it, is this the handbrake or reverse?? cant trace anything as its only half there!

done! ALLLL of it. everythin works! just the engine kill to go.
no wiring of any kind for the reverse, handbrake or fog lights.
now im a sexpert if anyone needs any info ;-) haha
