Folks am in dire need of help here.
I had a bump with a wall in snow back in December and have had the front end rebuilt with used parts and a new seat belt tensioner installed but the SRS light is staying on. The local independent Land Rover garage says it needs a new ECU which with fitting comes to just under a grand! I'm told it's 8 hours labour to take the dash apart to replace it plus the cost of a new ECU at nearly £400! Is there an easy fix? The car will fail it's next MOT if the light is on permanently. Is there a way of turning it off which is only an advisory?
