I have a sudden spurt of enthusiasm to sort some more niggles out on my P38 following the unexpected MOT pass this week. Dunno why I thought it wouldn't get through, but I've become more pessimistic since owning it
On the hottest bank holiday weekend I can remember in a long time, my priority has become the aircon and/or sunroof.
I have the usual book symbol on the HEVAC display and have recently changed the pollen filters which were full of crud and now the blower is really quite good. All of the options on blower direction appear to work and I can get hot or ambient temperature, but nothing like effective air cooling from the aircon. Having read loads of previous threads, I'm thinking of going for the Kwik Fit gas recharge option as £45 seems worth a flutter. Before I do so and then consider hacking the console and dash to pieces in order to change sensors and blend motors etc, has anyone got any idea what it means when both aircon pipes are hot?
Either I get this sorted or resort to driving around wearing nothing but Speedos. Not a good look!
