Hi all, a bit of background. I used to run a personal leasing arm of a major finance company until it was the victim of the credit crunch. I took the plunge and set up with a business partner.

As we had relationships with all manufacturers and many of our old customer affinity groups came with us.

Without spamming in any way ( as I am really just looking for advice ), we are in a privileged position to be getting extra discount on leases on Landrovers.

Where should we advertise to get people looking for Landrover leases either for their business or for themselves ?

We are looking at Vet associations and a couple of other affinities but it has left me scratching my head. We have a market leading product but don't know where is best to advertise it.

Really appreciate any ideas and feedback, apologies if this is in the wrong section. It is a genuine call for advice from people who can help as opposed to trying to sell anything

Ta !

advertising here isn't ideal, landy forums are more aimed at peeps who like keeping their existing vehicles on the road

maybe a horsey forum might bring you some fruit

Thanks Sean, was thinking more about affinity type groups (forums probably not best as it is generally frowned upon!). We are meeting with the BMA (doctors) and a couple of other groups.

Just wanted to see if anyone had any idea where would be best to target our offers.

Will have a look into the horse idea though !

Maybe your only leasing 'classy' land rovers for long leases if approaching the doctor market - but - if not look at what SHB4x4 do - they lease Landies to I think every single festival in the country and most big events, now although they may have that market cornered, you may get some ideas of other areas they lease landies too...

Thanks Mike, exactly the sort of point in direction I was looking for. I know you can't generalise where people will buy 4x4s as they come from all walks of life !

Just trying to find out where you can get cost effective marketing where there may be a concentration of potential buyers.

Appreciated !

Where do Land-Rover place thier advertising?
Becouse THATS where people who buy new or leasable landrovers are gonna look, innit?
As an 'associated' product, I would have thought youd simply look what magazines, Top Gear, Autocar, Horse & counrty, Country Life, whatever, LR place big block ads in, and try and get a block add on facing page in the same mag.
"Oh look Dear, the New Dicovery Three"
"Oh yes! And theres an ad on how to get one on lease..."
