Advice needed on my 2 door freelander - drivers side seat will not fold forward

I assume it is the cable that needs replacing; and I have bought a replacement cable, however I am not sure where or how to fit it (the seats are leather) can anyone offer any advice as to how I can go about fixing this?

I have the same problem, there's two claws which the cable operates I found one one still worked when I lifted the lever but the other didn't so I just lifted it up manually and secured it in the unlock position the seat is held back by the other claw and my 15 stone frame.... not had chance to investigate it any further...
