Add clock to instrument lcd

Hi folks, just bought a LR Discovery 3 for my wife and noticed that the lcd in the center of the instrument panel is a bit lacking in info. I thought i read in a post (that i cannot find again) that it is possible to add a time display to this Lcd screen. Can anyone help with this? Many thanks in advance.
